GILEAD ROAD AND ROUTE 51 SOUTH- <br /> WHEREAS, on the 1 st day of August, 1996, upon due notice, the Decatur City Plan <br /> Commission held a public hearing upon the petition of Kamal H. Shouhayib (Downing Street <br /> Limited Partnership) to rezone premises described as: <br /> A part of the Southeast Quarter of Section 33, T. 16 N., R. 2 E. of <br /> the 3rd PM described as follows: Beginning at a point 541.45 feet <br /> West of the Southeast corner of the Southeast Quarter of said <br /> Section 33; thence N. 0 degrees 22' 26" W., 450 feet; thence S. 89 <br /> degrees 06' 17" W., 600 feet to a point on the easterly right of way <br /> of FA Route 2; thence S. 12 degrees 17' O1" W, 496.73 feet along <br /> the said easterly right of way of FA Route 2; S. 74 degrees 11' 39" <br /> W., 131.25 feet; thence S. 0 degrees 10' 47" E., 43.41 feet to the <br /> south line of the Southeast Quarter of said Section 33; thence N. 89 <br /> degrees 06' 17" E, 638.04 feet to the point of beginning. The <br /> property described contains 6.40 acres, more or less, <br /> from R-1 SINGLE FAMII.Y RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-2 COMIlVIERCIAL DISTRICT; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Decatur City Plan Commission recommended that the prayer of said <br /> petition be granted. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF TI� CITY <br /> OF DECATUR, II.LINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the recommendation of the Decatur City Plan Commission be, and the <br /> same is hereby, received, placed on file and approved. <br /> Section 2. That said described premises be, and they are hereby, rezoned from R-1 <br /> SINGLE FAMII,Y RESIDENCE DISTRICT to B-2 COMI��RCIAL DISTRICT. <br />
