That the above described portions of said street and alleys be, and the same are <br /> hereby, vacated as a public street and alleys inasmuch as the same are no longer required for <br /> public use and the public interest will be subserved by such vacation, said portions of said street <br /> and alleys being shown on the plat thereof hereto attached and hereby made a part hereof. <br /> Section 2. That the benefits which will be accrued to the owner of abutting property by <br /> reason of the vacation aforesaid is determined to be, in the judgment of the Council, equal to the <br />' sum of Ten Thousand Dollars($10,000). <br />
