WESTLAWN AVENUE - ', VVHEREAS, there having been filed with the City Clerk, and by said Clerk presented to I, the Council herewith, the petition under oath of the Illinois Department of Transportation '�, requesting that there be annexed to the City territory described as: ' Part of the North 60 acres of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 28, Township 17 North, Range 2 East of the 3rd P.M., Macon County, Illinois, described as follows: The South 480 feet West of Cooper's Second Addition as per Plat recorded in Book 1405 Page 16 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois, of said North 60 acres except the West 325 feet of the Suth 300 feet thereof; and, WHEREAS, it appears said petition is signed by the owners of record of all land within such temtory and that no electors reside therein, and that said territory is contiguous to the City ' and not within the corporate limits of any city, village or incorporated town or other municipality; and, WHEREAS, notice of intention to take action for annexation has been given as required. NOW, TI�REFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY T'HE CITY COUNCII, OF TI� CITY OF DECATUR, II.LINOIS: Section 1. That said petition and the request thereof be, and the same are hereby, approved. Section 2. That said territory hereinabove described, along with all parts of public highways therein or next and adjacent thereto not heretofore annexed, if any, be, and the same are hereby, annexed to and are incorporated into the limits of the City of Decatur, Illinois, a municipal corporation.
