4, " <br /> i <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 96-29 <br /> ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE <br /> - CHAPTER 44 - <br /> - FIRE PREVENTION AND CONTROL - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY TI� CITY COUNCIL OF TI-� CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That Chapter 44 of the City Code of the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby <br /> modified and amended at Section 5, paragraph F-3103.7 thereof, so that said paragraph F-3103.7, as <br /> modified and amended shall provide as follows: <br /> F-3103.7 Revocation: Any pernut issued hereunder may be revoked or <br /> suspended by the City Manager upon two (2) days notice in writing to the <br /> permittee of opportunity to be heard, for any violation by the permittee of the <br /> provisions of the Fire Prevention Code or the regulations duly adopted <br /> thereunder, and such suspension or revocation may be in addition to any fine <br /> imposed. For any third or subsequent violation of Chapter 44 occurring within <br /> twelve (12) months of the date of the first violation, the licensee's permit shall <br /> be revoked, and he shall be ineligible to receive a permit for the sale or purchase <br /> of fireworks for a period of twelve(12) months. <br /> Section 2. That Chapter 44 of the City Code of the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby <br /> further modified and amended at Section 7 thereof, so that said Section 7, as modified and amended <br /> shall provide as follows: <br /> 7. PERMIT APPLICATION FEE. Whenever by the provisions of Code <br /> or ordinance a permit is required to be obtained from the fire official, <br /> application for the same shall be made at the office of the Finance Department <br /> upon forms there furnished containing such information as may reasonably be <br /> required by the fire official to pernut the administration of said provisions and <br /> those connected therewith, which said application shall be accompanied by a <br /> non-refundable fee of Twenty-Five ($25.00) for a pernut to purchase fireworks , <br /> (for an approved display); and One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) for a permit to '�, <br /> sell fireworks, unless a fee in excess thereof is otherwise expressly required by <br /> one of said provisions. <br /> Section 3. That Chapter 44 of the City Code of the City of Decatur be, and the same is hereby <br /> modified and amended at Section 21, paragraph A. thereof, so that said Section 21, paragraph A., as <br /> modified and amended shall provide as follows: <br />
