y � <br /> < <br /> ORDINANCE N0. 96-25 <br /> ORDINANCE REGULATING PARKING <br /> - 300, 400 AND 500 BLOCKS OF , <br /> EAST PRAIRiE STREET- ; <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COLTNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> II,LINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That in accordance with, and subject to, the applicable provisions of <br /> Chapter 34 of the City Code, when appropriate parking meters are installed thereat, diagonal <br /> vehicular parking on the south side of East Prairie Street, between North Franklin Street and <br /> North Martin Luther King Jr. Drive, shall be permitted. <br /> Section 2. That parking meters shall be installed in said zones which shall register not <br /> to exceed ten (10) hours upon the insertion of the appropriate coin of the United States at the <br /> following rates: <br /> 2 Hour Meter 10 Hour Meter <br /> Nickel = 30 minutes Nickel = 30 minutes <br /> Dime= 1 hour Dime = 1 hour <br /> Quarter= 2 hours . Quarter= 2 1/2 hours <br /> Section 3. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions <br /> of this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Two Dollars ($2.00) nor more <br /> than Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) for each offense. <br /> Section 4.
