ORDINANCE NO. 96-20 <br /> AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING STOP INTERSECTION <br /> - EAST DIVISiON AND 32ND STREETS - <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COLINCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That when appropriate signs are erected giving notice thereof, the driver of a <br /> vehicle on 32nd Street approaching East Division Street from the north or south shall stop and <br /> yield the right-of-way to vehicles on East Division Street which have entered the intersection of <br /> said streets or which are approaching so closely thereto as to constitute an immediate hazard, but <br /> said driver having so stopped and yielded the right-of-way may proceed at such time as a safe <br /> interval occurs. <br /> Section 2. That any person, firm or corporation who shall violate any of the provisions of <br /> this ordinance shall, upon conviction, be fined not less than Ten Dollars ($10.00) nor more than <br /> Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for each offense. <br /> Section 3. That the provisions of all ordinances in conflict with the provisions of this <br /> ordinance which insofar as the same do conflict therewith be, and the same are hereby, repealed. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this 29th day of April, 1996. <br /> .. ._�.---� ;-r':�--- n.-c_.._---�'�'� <br /> TERRY M.
