{� � BooK �6 3 9 PACE 6 2 PETITION TO VACATE A PORTION OF NORTHERN DRIVE The undersigned do hereby petition the City of Decatur, Decatur, Illinois, to adopt an ordinance vacating that portion of Northern Drive in the City of Decatur lying west of Greenridge Drive in the City of Decatur, which premises requested to be vacated are described as follows, to-wit: Beginning at the northeast corner of Lot 43 of Greenridge Addition to the City of Decatur, as per plat recorded in Book 958, page 70 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence westerly along the north lot line of said Lot 43 for a distance of 299.5 feet to the northwest corner of said Lot 43; thence northerly 30 feet to a point on the south lot line of Lot 5 of Greenridge Second Addition to the City of Decatur, as per plat recorded in Book 300 page 163 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; thence easterly along the south lot lines of lots 5, 3 and 1 of said Greenridge Second Addition for a distance of 299.5 feet to the southeast corner of Lot 1 of said Greenridge Second Addition, thence southerly for a distance of 30 feet to the place of beginning. The undersigned are each fee simple owners of real property adjoining the premises sought to be vacated. The undersigned agree, upon request by the City of Decatur, through its staff, to obtain, and bear all costs connected therewith, a fair market value appraisal of the premises requested to be vacated, which appraisal shall be in manner and form satisfactory to the City of Decatur. The undersigned jointly and severally further agree to promptly pay in full to the City of Decatur the appraised price accepted by the City of Decatur, and the undersigned make no request for the City of Decatur to allocate said appraisal price in any manner or form among property owners adjoining the premises to be vacated. .�' Respectfully submitted this �%�� day of � f�-'�'-��,.�-� 1995.
