Marley, P.E.,Public Works Director <br /> Keith D.Alexander,Director for Water Management <br /> SUBJECT: South Water Treatment Plant Concrete Repairs Project, <br /> City Project 2015-04 <br /> SUMMARY RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached resolution accepting the bid <br /> and awarding the contract for the South Water Treatment Plant Concrete Repairs Project, City <br /> Project 2015-04,to Otto Baum Company, Inc., (Otto Baum),as the lowest responsive and <br /> responsible bidder in the amount of$50,83633, and that the Mayor be authorized to execute the <br /> contract, and the City Clerk to attest. <br /> PRIOR COUNCIL ACTIONS: <br /> There has been no previous Council action on this project. <br /> BACKGROUND: <br /> The South Water Treatment Plant Concrete Repairs project will perform major concrete repairs to <br /> the main parking lot and minor repairs at selected locations within the facility. (See attached <br /> location map.) <br /> Public Letting Results <br /> The project specifications were prepared by the Public Works Department.
