APPENDIX A SUMMARY OF PRIOR COUNCIL ACTION February 5,2007—Council approved Resolution R2007-16 authorizing the City to enter into an agreement with the State of Illinois for the Eldorado Street Enhancement Project and to appropriate funds to pay$155,000 for phase I preliminary engineering. February 5,2007—Council approved Resolution R2007-17 approving an agreement with URS Corporation in the amount of$154,705.74 for phase I preliminary engineering on the Eldorado Street Enhancement Project. May 19,2008—Council approved Resolutions R2008-72 and R2008-73 approving a supplemental agreement with the State of Illinois and URS Corporation in the amount of $292,327.60 for the phase II final design of the Eldorado Street Enhancement Project. June 30, 2008— Staff sent a"Green Sheet Memo"to invite Council Members to a Public Information Meeting to discuss the Eldorado Street Enhancement Project. The meeting was held in the Civic Center, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M., Tuesday, July 1, 2008. November 3, 2008—In study session, staff updated the City Council on the status of the Eldorado Street Enhancement Project including project designs and estimate. February 2,2009 - In study session, staff updated the City Council on the status of the Eldorado Street Enhancement Project including project schedule, current project status, current work activity and current cost estimate. February 17,2009—Staff sent a"Green Sheet Memo" showing Council Members the landscaping plans of the Eldorado Street Enhancement Project including the proposed locations for ornamental fencing. March 2, 2009 - Council approved Resolution R2009-21 approving an Agreement with the State of Illinois for the construction of the Eldorado Street Enhancement Project and for the expenditure of$308,280 in City funds to provide the 20% funding match. The Council also approved Resolution R2009-22 authorizing$41,640 in additional funds for URS for additional design work and construction assistance. �� June 1,2009 - Council approved Resolution R2009-83 authorizing an agreement with URS Corporation to design street lighting improvements on Eldorado Street east of Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive to be included as a change order to the Eldorado Streetscape Project in the amount of$5,800 for design services. May 5, 2014 - Council approved Resolution R2014-40 authorizing an Amendment to the Agreement with the State of Illinois for the Eldorado Street Enhancement project, to extend the date of obligation from April 12, 2014, to April 12, 2015. October 6, 2014 - Council approved Resolution R2014-121 authorizing an Amendment to the Agreement with the State of Illinois for the Eldorado Street Enhancement project, to extend the date of obligation from April 12, 2015, to April 12, 2016.
