McQueen, Senior Planner <br /> SUBJECT: Annexation of tracts in the 2200-2600 blocks Finch <br /> Drive <br /> A valid petition requesting annexation of the subject <br /> premises has been filed with the City Clerk' s Office. <br /> Containing 8 .3 acres, the area in question consists of <br /> eleven separate tracts each of which is developed with a <br /> single family dwelling. The main reason for requesting <br /> annexation is to obtain City water to serve the existing <br /> development. <br /> The following data has been compiled relative to the <br /> proposed annexation: <br /> 1. Construction of a new watermain along Finch Drive <br /> west of Greenswitch Road to serve the subject area <br /> is scheduled in the 1995 Watermain Extension <br /> Program. <br /> 2 . The area is not presently served by sanitary <br /> sewers; however, an existing sewer approximately <br /> 250 feet west of the current west end of Finch <br /> Drive could be extended to serve the subject <br /> tracts. <br /> 3 . Finch Drive is approximately sixteen feet wide and <br /> is improved with an oil and chip surface which is <br /> in good condition. <br /> 4 . Additional annual revenue of approximately <br /> $2600 .00 would become available from the combined <br /> total of real estate, motor fuel, and state income <br /> taxes. <br /> The subject tracts are within a residential development <br />
