4 � + � <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 95-54 <br /> ORDINANCE REGARDING PAY AND CERTAIN BENEFITS - <br /> GENERAL SERVICES AND <br /> AMENDING CITY CODE - CHAPTER 7 <br /> BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, <br /> ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That effective May 1, 1995, and subject to the applicable provisions of <br /> existing ordinance or administrative order not inconsistent herewith, those positions assigned by <br /> ordinance or administrative order to pay grades or ranges in the general services be, and they are <br /> hereby, authorized to have attached thereto, and employees occupying said positions on August <br /> 9, 1995, be, and they are hereby, authorized to be paid, the respective salary or wage set out for <br /> each such grade or range as shown on E�ibit A, said Exhibit A being attached hereto and hereby <br /> made a part hereof. <br /> Section 2. That the City Code of the City of Decatur, Illinois, be, and the same is hereby, <br /> amended at Section 22 of Chapter 7 thereof by indicating the current language of said Section 22 <br /> shall be labeled subparagraph (A) and by adding subparagraph (B) thereto. Said subparagraph <br /> (B) to provide as follows: <br /> (B) Subparagraph (A) hereof shall be inapplicable to any <br /> such employee who remains in an unclassified position in excess <br /> of three (3) months, at which time such employee will no longer be <br /> entitled to any rights or privileges specified therein nor to any <br /> rights arising out of civil service law generally. <br /> PRESENTED, PASSED, APPROVED AND RECORDED this 30th day of October, <br /> 1995. <br /> ,-1-,C,- <br /> TE Y M�6�� <br /> �AYOR <br /> ATTEST: <br /> CI LERK <br />
