. � �� <br /> c <br /> ^ � ,�_ y .� <br /> �' ���� "�� � <br /> ORDINANCE NO. �� -' � �-., <br /> ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONSUMPTION OF <br /> ALCOHOLIC LIQUOR IN CENTRAL PARK <br /> D�WNTOWN DECATUR COUNCIL <br /> WHEREAS, The Downtown Decatur Council has planned the 100th Anniversary of the <br /> Transfer House celebration scheduled for Saturday, September 9, and the annual "Arts in Central <br /> Park" event scheduled for Saturday, September 16, and Sunday, September 17, 1995; and, <br /> WHEREAS, it is the intention of the Downtown Decatur Council to offer alcoholic <br /> beverages for sale to its patrons for consumption at these two events; and, <br /> WHEREAS, such consumption of alcoholic liquor in Central Park requires the express <br /> approval of the City Council; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the Council finds that it would be in the best interest of the Downtown <br /> Decatur Council and of the City of Decatur that such consumption of alcoholic liquor as described <br /> be permitted for said limited time period. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That on the days listed herein, and only on such days, between the hours listed <br /> opposite each, only those alcoholic beverages listed below may be consumed in Central Park <br /> located in downtown Decatur, said days and.hours being particularly described as follows: <br /> 100th Anniversary Saturday, <br /> of Transfer House September 9 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Beer and Wine only <br /> Arts in Central Park Saturday, Saturday and Sunday, Ale Beer, Domestic Wines, <br /> September 16; 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Bloody Marys, Screwdrivers <br /> Sunday, Mimosas, Manhattans, Rob <br /> September 17 Roy <br /> Section 2. That no alcoholic beverage may be consumed as provided herein unless such <br /> alcoholic beverage is in a plastic or paper cup. <br />
