A S ecial Use Permit is re uested b Vulcan Materials Com an for sand and ravel <br /> P q Y P Y g <br /> , <br /> mining and processing for three contiguous properties situated ad�acent to Vulcan s <br /> existing sand and gravel operation in Decatur, Illinois as shown on the Location Map. <br /> 2. These properties are located in Video Place, a subdivision of the City of Decatur and are <br /> situated in the Northeast Quarter of Section 22, Township 16 North, Range 2 East of the <br /> 3rd Principle Meridian in Macon County, Illinois. <br /> 3. The specific properties involved are : <br /> A. The Horstein Property of 5.0 acres approximately, presently occupied by an auto <br /> � salvage company and to be purchased by Vulcan. <br /> B. The Tryco Property of 8.3 acres approximately, presently occupied by a dealer <br /> in tire shredding equipment, also to be purchased by Vulcan. <br /> C. A 4.8 acre tract in the northern area of the Lugari Property to be leased by <br /> Vulcan as a plant site for minerals processing. <br /> 4. The above properties are located south of the Sangamon River and immediately west of <br /> the right-of-way of the Illinois Central Gulf Railroad. <br /> 5. Site access is by Monroe Street to State Route 105 which is the present source of <br /> ingress - egress used by above mentioned businesses and Vulcan. <br /> � <br /> l. <br />
