Swartz, hereby requests the rezoning <br /> of the property legally described as follows: <br /> Lots 8 and 9 of the East View Addition to the City of <br /> Decatur as shown by a plat in Book 300 Page 23 in the <br /> records of the Macon County Recorder. <br /> The property in question is located in the 2200 Block of East <br /> Prairie Street. <br /> FROM: R-3 Single Family Residence District to B-1 Neighborhood <br /> Shopping District. <br /> The Property owner is the Bruce A. and Anne I. Swartz Trust. <br /> The petitioner has interest in the following described property <br /> adjacent to the property sought to be rezoned; <br /> Lots 1 thru 7 of the East View Addition to the City of Decatur <br /> as shown by a plat in Book 300 Page 23 of the records of the <br /> Macon County Recorder. <br /> The purpose of the rezoning is to allow the construction of a <br /> convenience store on Lots 1 thru 9. (A copy of the preliminary <br /> sight plan is attached. ) <br /> The property has in the past had a special use permit to allow <br /> parking for the restaurant on adjacent property. <br /> The petitioner feels that the requested rezoning is a logical <br /> expansion of the adjacent B-1 zone. <br /> �� .� L ^ � � ,` � <br /> ruce A.
