Quandt, Civil Engineer I <br /> SUBJECT: Redlich Drive Storm Sewer <br /> City Project 2000-34 <br /> An item on the agenda for the December 4, 2000, City Council meeting is the acceptance of <br /> bids and award of a contract for improvements to Redlich Drive Storm Sewer. <br /> This project will consist of installing new storm sewer along Redlich Court to relieve <br /> surface water drainage problems. <br /> The project plans and specifications were prepared by City Engineering. The project was <br /> advertised October 18, 2000, and bids were opened on November 28, 2000. The results of the <br /> letting are as follows: <br /> Compared to <br /> Engineer's Est. <br /> Bidder Bid Price Over(-Under� <br /> Engineer's Estimate $ 50,664.00 --- <br /> GRS General Contractors $ 38,599.05 (-23.81%) <br /> Burdick Plumbing& Heating $ 42,915.00 (-15.29 %) <br /> Bodine Services, Inc. $ 50,565.00 ( -0.20 %) <br /> Entler Excavating Co., Inc. $ 61,444.00 21.28 % <br /> Funding for this project will be from the City's Capital Improvements Fund. <br />
