E., City Engineer�� � � <br /> SUBJECT: Downtown Street Lighting Improvement <br /> City Project 2000-44 <br /> An item on the agenda for the November 20, 2000, City Council meeting is the acceptance <br /> of bids and award of a contract for improvements to the downtown street lighting system. <br /> This project will consist of installing new wire and repairing street lighting hand holes that <br /> serve as part of the overhead lighting system in the downtown. , <br /> The project plans and specifications were prepared by City Engineering. The project was <br /> advertised October 25, 2000, and bids were opened on November 13, 2000. The results of the <br /> letting are as follows: <br /> Compared to ' <br /> Engineer's Est.
