- � ' . <br /> . <br /> AMENDMENT TO MASTER AGREEMENT <br /> This Amendment, made and entered into this 6th day of November <br /> , <br /> 2000, by and between the City of Decatur (hereinafter referred to as the CITY) and the <br /> State of Illinois, Department of Transportation (hereinafter referred to as the STATE). <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY and the STATE have entered into a Master Agreement <br /> dated July 9, 1980 which agreement sets forth certain responsibilities of the respective <br /> parties for the maintenance and provision of necessary electrical energy for certain <br /> traffic signals and the costs associated therewith; and <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY and the STATE desire to extend the term of said <br /> AGREEMENT; and <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY and the STATE executed an amendment to the agreement , <br /> on July 6, 1981 that provided for a modification to the effective term if agreed to in � <br /> writing. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein <br /> and other good and valuable consideration, the receipt and su�ciency of which are <br /> hereby acknowledged by both the CITY and the STATE, the parties hereto agree that <br /> the following provision is hereby added to and made a material part of the Master <br /> Agreement: <br /> "This Master Agreement Amendment shall remain in effect until such time that a <br /> new Master Agreement is executed by both parties or a maximum time period of <br /> six (6) months from this amendment date, whichever occurs first. <br /> All other terms and conditions of the Master Agreement and amendments <br /> thereto, not in conflict with this Amendment shall remain in full force and effect." <br />
