Invoices are submitted monthly for the work completed in the <br /> previous month. Payment: Net 30 days. <br /> PER HOUR ADJUSTMENT: � <br /> Straight time per hour rates are subject to change during long-term projects. Proposed rate <br /> increases will be requested in writing and will be negotiated prior to invoicing at increased rates. <br /> OVERTIME CHARGES: <br /> Overtime charges are not stated. Such charges are committed only after client authorization. <br /> Amount of such charges will be furnished upon request. <br /> DIRECT REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES: <br /> Expenses such as transportation, subsistence, telephone and telegraph tolis, reproductions, <br /> computer machine time, subsurface investigations, laboratory testing, survey supplies, subcontract <br /> expenses for special seniice such as legal, engineering, accounting, etc., and special licenses, <br /> permits, insurance or bonds, are charged to the client at actual cost pius ten (10) percent handling. <br /> Automobile mileage is charged at thirty-two cents ($0.32) per mile net (without markup). <br /> ABBREVIATIONS AND DEFINITIONS: <br /> P.T.R. - Project Technical Representative. An employee capable of doing <br /> project architecture/engineering, or project management work. <br /> Technologist - A technologist is educated in architectural or engineering theory; in <br /> some instances may have an architectural or engineering degree or <br /> education and training equal to such a degree. <br /> NOT-TO-EXCEED AMOUNT: <br /> This is not a fixed proposal amount - it is a term used because a client's budgeting requirements <br /> often lead to proposing an "Upset Limit" (a dollar maximum to be written into an agreement. The fee <br /> basis method PER HOUR CHARGES PLUS DIRECT REIMBURSABLE EXPENSES is usually <br /> chosen initially because of a possible uncertainty of scope of services. Accordingly, Blank, <br /> Wesselink, Cook & Associates, Inc. company policy requires advise to the client when costs are <br /> approaching 25%, 50%, or 75% of an agreed, "not-to-exceed" amount and to forecast the probable <br /> total cost. This provision gives the client an opportunity to examine the progress at the 25%, 50%, <br /> and 75% points and, if need be, to approve a figure larger (or smaller) than the original "not-to- <br /> exceed amount." <br /> z�ao�,v2�oa�ss� <br />
