Slavin Management Consultants (SMC) is pleased to provide this proposal to conduct an executive search for a departmental director position with the City of Decatur. Although the position has not been titled, we understand that it will head a newly structured department with public works re{ated � functions. The purpose of this project is to assist the City to develop a comprehensive position profile for the position and then, to identify, recruit and present outstanding candidates to the City. , We are uniquely prepared to preform this work. As you know we know the City of Decatur and we have significant recruitment experience in the Public Works (and related) field. Mr. Slavin began his career as the Assistant Departmental Personnel O�cer for the Santa Clara County(San Jose, CA)Department of Public Works. And, SMC has significant Public Works recruitment experience.
