Krieger, Assistant City Manager� <br /> SUBJECT: Scheduling of Annexation Public Hearing <br /> The attached resolution scheduling a July 17, 2000, public hearing date is pursuant to a proposed <br /> annexation agreement between the City of Decatur and Mary Elizabeth Bingaman. <br /> In addition to its annexation, Council will also consider an agreement between the City of Decatur <br /> and Airport Plaza Joint Venture (the existing Southeast Plaza developer) to initiate the <br /> development of the aforementioned parcel. The parcel to be annexed is immediately south of, and <br /> adjacent to, the existing Southeast Plaza development, east of IL 121. <br /> Among the conditions in the annexation agreement are designation of zoning classifications and <br /> the amendment of an e�sting development agreement. The zoning classifications will be <br /> considered at the July meeting of the Plan Commission. The entire agreement will be considered <br /> at the July 17, 2000 regular City Council meeting. <br /> Staff recommends approval of the attached resolution scheduling the public hearing, and will be <br /> available to answer questions. <br />
