Perry, Purchasing Supervisora,� <br /> SUBJECT: STREET SWEEPER BIDS <br /> Attached you will find a bid summary for three street sweepers to be used by the Street Division <br /> of the Public Works Department. These sweepers will replace a 1992 Johnston sweeper, a 1992 <br /> Peabody Myer Sunvac sweeper, and a 1996 Elgin Pelican street sweeper currently in use. <br /> Phil Wilhelm, MSC Manager has also prepared a memo which is attached. This memo outlines <br /> the reason�why the street sweepers bid by Woody's and Eco Systems are unacceptable. <br /> It is staff recommendation from the Public Works Department to accept the bid of Key <br /> Equipment to furnish three(3)2000 Elgin Pelican P dual broom street sweepers for$293,508. <br />
