LEGAL DEPARTMENT MEMORANDUM <br /> No. 2000-08 <br /> June 14, 2000 <br /> TO: Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br /> FROM: Rolanda Johnson, Deputy City Manager <br /> John W. Couter, Corporation Counsel <br /> RE: Parking Lot <br /> Real Estate Investors of Decatur, L.L.C., owner of the Galleria Plaza, 111 E. Main <br /> Street, has asked the City to permit it to have access to its building through the City Parking <br /> Lot located at the Southeast corner of Main and Main Streets, for the use of its tenants, <br /> customers and other business invitees. In exchange for such access, REID has agreed to <br /> reimburse the City for Twenty Five Per Cent (25%) of the cost of resurfacing the City lot. Staff <br /> recommends that the City agree to permit access to REID, on the terms offered. <br /> The attached resolution will authorize said agreement. <br /> JWC:sas <br /> cc: Wendy L.
