� � <br /> RESOLUTION NO. R2000-75 - <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING <br /> ADDENDA TO CONTRACT <br /> -DECATUR TAXI. INC.AND PRIDE MIDWEST SERVICES. INC.- <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR, ILLINOIS: <br /> Section 1. That the City Manager, or his designee, be and he is hereby, authorized to <br /> negotiate with Decatur T�i, Inc. and Pride Midwest Services, Inc., Addenda to said agreements <br /> with the City regarding the Subsidized Taxi Cab Program for the Disabled, said Addenda to <br /> include the following: <br /> 1. That the drug and alcohol policies and procedures of the taxi <br /> companies must be in compliance with the regulations of the Federal Transit <br /> Administration(FTA); <br /> 2. That the taxi companies must adopt a drug and alcohol policy, <br /> and must file their written policy with the Decatur Public Transit System within <br /> 30 days, and file any subsequent amendments to that policy within 30 days of <br /> enactment; <br /> 3. That the Decatur Public Transit System shall be responsible for <br /> monitoring the taxi companies for compliance with FTA regulations; and, <br /> 4. That failure to comply with FTA drug and alcohol regulations <br /> shall be grounds for immediate termination of the contract. <br /> Section 2.
