Willenborg has requested water service to 1825 Danceland Road, due to <br /> problems that have been experienced with a private well; from the City of Decatur, and <br /> submitted the required Water Service Agreement (copy attached) to the City's Engineering <br /> Division. The agreement is required because the property is outside of and not contiguous to the <br /> City's corporate limits (refer to the attached locale map). The water service connection will be to <br /> an existing 16-inch City water main on the west side of South Shores Drive. <br /> The agreement, if approved by City Council, will increase the total number of individual <br /> properties having water service agreement with the City to 41. The City has 19 water service <br /> districts involving 518 properties of which 347 have agreed to connect to the City's water <br /> system. <br /> It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached resolution <br /> approving Water Service Agreement for 1825 Danceland Road, and authorizing the Mayor to <br /> execute said Water Service Agreement for City. <br /> City staff will be available to answer questions that the Council may have at the meeting. <br /> Attach: 4 <br /> cc: Bobby L.
