R2000-44 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR MODEI2NIZATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF 22ND STREET WITH WOOD STREET WHEREAS,the City of Decatur has entered into an Agreement with the State of Illinois for moderni- zation of Traffic Signals at the intersecrion of Illinois Route 105 (22nd Street) with Wood Street known as State Section 56CS-TS;and WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforemenrioned Agreement, it is necessary for the City of Decatur to appropriate sufficient funds to pay its share of the cost of said improvements. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Two Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Five Dollars ($2,875.00)or so much thereof as may be necessary, from any money now or hereinafter allotted to the City to pay for its share of the cost of this improvement as described in the Agreement. Section 2. That upon award of the contract for this improvement,the City will pay the Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois in a lump sum from any funds allotted to the City, an amount equal to 95%of its obligation incurred under this Agreement,and will pay to the said Department the remainder of the obligation (including any non-participation costs of FAP projects) in a lump sum, upon complerion of the project based upon final costs. Section 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to sign, seal and attest said agreements on behalf of the City. Secrion 4. That Resolution No.R2000-21 be,and the same is hereby,repealed. PRESENTED&nd ADOPTED this 3rd day of April,2000.
