' � s � <br /> . � , <br /> FAP Route 320 (Illinois Route 105) <br /> Section 56CS-TS & lO1R-1 <br /> Macon County <br /> Job No. C-95-106-99 <br /> Agreement No. JN-500410 <br /> Contract No. 70053 <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> � <br /> This agreement, entered into this 17aay of , A.D. �d�, by and <br /> between the STATE OF ILLINOIS, acting by and through its DEPARTMENT OF <br /> TRANSPORTATION hereinafter called the STATE, and the City of Decatur, in Macon <br /> County, of the State of Illinois, hereinafter called the CITY. <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> WHEREAS, the STATE in order to facilitate the free flow of traffic and insure safety <br /> to the motoring public, is desirous of modernizing traffic signals located at the intersection of <br /> Illinois Route 105 (FAP Route 320/22"d Street) with Wood Street. The work shall primarily <br /> consist of installing a new controller, controller cabinet and detector loops; replacing electric <br /> cables, signal posts and signal heads; and by performing all other work necessary to complete <br /> the improvement in accordance with approved plans and specifications; and <br /> WHEREAS, the CITY is desirous of said improvement in that same will be of <br /> immediate benefit to the CITY's residents and permanent in nature, and; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the mutual covenants contained herein, the <br /> parties agree as follows: <br /> 1. The STATE agrees to make the surveys, ontain all necessary rights of way, <br /> prepare plans and specifications, receive bids and award the contract, furnish <br /> engineering inspection during constn-;tion and cause the improvement to be <br /> built in accordance with the plans, specifications, and contract. <br /> 2. The STATE agrees to pay all rights-of-way, construction and engineering costs <br /> subject to reimbursement by the CITY. <br />
