R2000-44 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING AGREEMENT WITH ILLINOIS DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION FOR MODE1tNIZATION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT THE INTERSECTION OF 22ND STREET WITH WOOD STREET WHEREAS,the City of Decatur has entered into an Agreement with the State of IIlinois for moderni- zation of Traffic Signals at the intersection of Illinois Route 105 (22nd Street) with Wood Street lmown as i State Section 56CS-TS;and 'I WHEREAS, in compliance with the aforementioned Agreement, it is necessary for the City of I� 17ecatur to appropriate sufncient funds to pay its share of the cost of said improvemcnts. � NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCII. OF THE CITY OF DECATUR,ILLINOIS: Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the sum of Two Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy Five Dollars ($2,875.00) or so much thereof as may be necessary, from any money now or hereinafter allotted to the City to pay for its share of the cost of this improvement as described in the Agreement Section 2. That upon award of the contract for this improvement,the City will pay the Department of Transportation of the State of Illinois in a lump sum from any funds allotted to the City, an amount equal to 95%of its obligation incurred under this Agreement,and will pay to the said Department the remainder of the obligation (including any non-participation cosLs of FAP projects) in a lump sum, upon completion of the project based upon final costs. Section 3. That the Mayor and City Clerk be, and they are hereby, authorized and directed to sign, seal and attest said agreements on behalf of the City. Section 4.
