McNabb,P.E., Director of Public Works <br /> Stephen Swanson, P.E., City Engineea�L� <br /> SUBJECT: Watermain Replacement Program <br /> City Project 9920 <br /> The City's annual contracted watermain replacement program is for the replacement of <br /> City watermains and valves that have a record of frequent breaks or operational problems. The <br /> selection of work items for this program is based on repair records maintained by the City's <br /> Water Distribution Maintenance Section. Work that is selected requires more resources than <br /> City crews are able to provide as it may relate to equipment, time required to complete the work <br /> or personnel. This year's program involves the replacement of about 190 feet of 16-inch <br /> watermain in North 22nd Street from Division Street to Logan Street (refer to attached locale <br /> map). <br /> The project was designed by the City's Engineering Division and bids were received and <br /> opened on March 28, 2000. The results of the letting (a copy of the bid tabulation is attached) <br /> are as follows: <br />
