Swanson, P.E., City Engineer/'''y
SUBJECT: Water Service.Agreement - 1563 & 1571 Allision Drive
Two properties on Allision Drive have requested water service from the City as they have
experienced problems with private wells. The properties, 1563 and 1571 Allison Drive, are both
owned by Ted R. Zindars. Mr. Zindars has submitted the required individual Water Service
Agreements (copies attached) to the City's Engineering Division. The agreements are required
because the properties are outside of and not contiguous to the City's corporate limits (refer to the
attached locale map). The water service connection will be to an existing 12-inch City water
main on the north side of State Route 121.
The agreements, if approved by City Council, will increase the total number of individual
properties having water service agreements with the City to 40. The City has 19 water service
districts involving 518 properties of which 347 have agreed to connect to the City's water system.
It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached Resolution approving
Water Service Agreements to 1563 and 1571 Allison Drive and authorizing the Mayor to execute
said Water Service Agreements for City.
City staff will be available to answer any questions that the Council may have at the
meeting.
Attachments: 4
cc: Bobby L.
