V <br /> • - ♦ <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> This AGREEMENT made by and between the City of Decatur, Illinois ("City"), a <br /> municipal corporation, and MMA Consulting Group, Inc. ("MMA"). a Massachusetts <br /> corporation. <br /> Whereas, the City desires to examine the staffing levels, personnel deployment and <br /> equipment, technology and facilities of its Fire Department so as to assess its ability to respond <br /> to fires, rescue situations and medical and other emergencies involving public health and safety; <br /> and, <br /> Whereas, MMA is qualified and willing to undertake such examination and assessment <br /> and report its findings to the City, on the terms and conditions provided herein. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, the City and MMA agree as follows: <br /> 1. MMA shall prepare and deliver to the City those reports listed in subsection (D) of <br /> Section III of the "REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS - MANAGEMENT STUDY OF THE <br /> DECATUR FIRE DEPARTMENT", hereinafter referred to as the "RFP", a copy of which is <br /> attached hereto , marked Exhibit A and hereby made a part hereof. In the preparation of said <br /> reports, MMA shall follow the procedures, consider the issues and answer the questions listed in <br /> Section III of the RFP. At the discretion of MMA, said r�ports may be submitted in a format <br /> consisting of one report, provided that all topics discussed in said Section III are adequately <br /> addressed. <br /> 2. MMA shall deliver said reports to the City not later than April 14, 2000. <br /> 3. The City shall pay MMA a fee of Thirty Seven Thousand Seven Hundred Dollars <br /> ($37,700.00) for the reports listed in Section 1 hereof, due within thirty (30) days after receipt <br /> thereof; provided that, upon evidence of satisfactory progress toward the completion of said <br />
