B. Flood Disaster Protection <br /> The Subrecipient agrees to comply with the requirements of the requirements of the <br /> Flood Disaster Protection Act of 1973 (P.L.-2234) in regard to the sale, lease or other transfer of <br /> land acquired, cleared or improved under the terms of this contract, as it may apply to the <br /> provisions of this contract. <br /> C. Lead Based Paint <br /> The Subrecipient agrees that any construction or rehabilitation of residential structures <br /> with assistance provided under this contract shall be subject to HCTD Lead-Based Paint <br /> Regulations at 24 CFR �70.608, and 24 CFR Part 35, and in particular Sub-Part B thereof. Such <br /> regulations pertain to all H[JD-assisted housing and require that all owners, prospective o�vners, <br /> and tenants or properties constructed prior to 1978 be properly notified that such properties may <br /> include lead-based paint. Such notification shall point out the hazards of lead-based paint and <br /> explain the symptoms, treatment, and precautions that should be taken when dealin� with <br /> lead-based paint poisoning. <br /> D.
