PURCHASING & INTERNAL SERVICES MEMORANDUM <br /> #99 - 55 <br /> November 1, 1999 <br /> TO: The Honorable Mayor and City Council Members <br /> FROM: Steve Garman, City Manager <br /> Beth Couter, Financial Management Director <br /> Kay Pittenger, Buyer <br /> SUBJECT: MID SIZE CARS BID <br /> Attached you will find a bid summary for (4) mid size cazs to be used by the Engineering <br /> Division and Water Distribution Division of the Public Works Depaztment and also the <br /> Neighborhood Services Division of the Community Development Department. Two of the <br /> vehicles will replace a 1993 Ford Tempo and 1994 Chevrolet Cavalier currently in use and two <br /> of the vehicles will be a new level of service for the Community Development Department. <br /> It is staff recommendation to accept the low bid of Bob Ridings Inc. to furnish (4) 2000 Ford <br /> Taurus LX mid size cars for$14,995 each or$59,980.00 total. <br />
