COUNCIL MEMORANDUM i <br /> #99-98 � <br /> October 13, 1999 I <br /> TO: The Honorable Mayor Howley and City Council Members <br /> FROM: Rolanda Johnson, Acting City Manager � <br /> RE: AQreement with Soules Bird Repelent Company <br /> Attached please find the agreement between the City of Decatur and Soules Bird Repelent <br /> Company. This three year agreement shall provide bird repellent services to city-owned property <br /> in an area bound by Cerro Gordo Street on the north, Franklin Street on the east, Wood Street on <br /> the south, and Church Street on the west. <br /> The expiring 1996 repellent contract totaled $32,000. This new contract totals $36,000 or <br /> $12,000 per year. The company stated that the $4,000 increase is due to increased insurance and <br /> employee costs. <br /> Staff recommends approval. <br /> Encl. <br />
