E., TrafFic Engineer �� <br /> SUBJECT: Oakland Avenue Bridge over I-72 Guardrail Improvement <br /> City Project 9940 <br /> An item on the agenda for the October 18, 1999, City Council meeting is the <br /> acceptance of bids and award of a contract for the improvement of the guardrail on the <br /> embankment for the Oakland Avenue/ I-72 bridge. <br /> This project will consist of extending the existing guardrail to increase protection <br /> through those portions of the embankment that are in excess of 15 feet in height. <br /> The project plans and specifications were prepared by the Traffic Engineer.
