� ATTACHMENT B <br /> TO <br /> AGREEMENT FOR ENGINEERING SERVICES <br /> Owner: City of Decatur, Illinois <br /> Engineer: Black & Veatch Corporation <br /> Project: Water Works Improvements <br />' lon Exchange Treatment Plant Addition <br /> South Water Treatment Plar�t <br /> Date: August 30, 1999 <br /> COMPENSATION <br /> For the services covered by this Agreement, the Owner agrees to pay the <br /> Engineer as follows: <br /> DESIGN PHASE SERVICES <br /> For services described in Attachment A as Tasks 1 through 5 a lump sum fee of <br /> $640,000 which includes expenses. <br /> SUPPLEMENTAL SERVICES, CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION AND <br /> ADDITION WATERWORKS RELATED SERVICES <br /> For these services, an amount equal to the Engineer's salary costs times 2.85 <br /> plus reimbursable expenses and plus subcontract billings times 1.05. Each item <br /> shall be specifically authorized by the Owner, and a maximum billing limit shall <br /> be established before the work is started. The amount billed for each item shall <br /> not exceed the amount established for it without further authorization.
