Mowen, Chief of Police rY��'_,M <br /> SUBJECT: Contract for Crossing Guard Services with Westaff(iJSA Inc) <br /> PURPOSE: Chief Mowen will propose approving a three year contract with Westaff(USA <br /> Inc) <br /> HISTORY: The City of Decatur has been in a contractual relationship with Westaff(LTSA Inc) <br /> to provide Crossing Guard Services since December, 1996. The Contract has been renewed <br /> annually for the last two years. Westaff(USA Inc) has proposed increases in the rate paid to the <br /> Crossing Guaxds as well as the rate the City of Decatur is billed for those services. The new rates <br /> are as follows: <br /> Pay Billing Rate <br /> Grade Pap Rate to Citv <br /> 1 $8.89 $12.45 <br /> 2 $9.26 $12.96 <br /> 3 $9.64 $13.50 <br /> The City of Decatur has proposed minor language changes to the existing contract. The City of <br /> Decatur has experienced no significant problems with Westaff(USA Inc) or the services they <br /> have provided. <br />
