DEFINITIONS <br /> h f llowin terms shall a 1 : I��� <br /> For the purposes of tlus agreement, t e o g pp y <br /> Collection Hours: Collection shall begin no earlier than 7:00 a.m. and be completed by 5:00 p.m. <br /> on the district collection day. <br /> Collection Point: The curb of a street in front of a dwelling (see definition of curbside below). <br /> Collection Routes: The districts shown on the map of the City attached hereto as Exhibit "A" <br /> and made a part hereof subject to change pursuant to Local Improvements and Annezations in <br /> Section VI. <br /> Collection Vehicles: One-ton dump bed vehicles with recycling trailer made a part hereof by <br /> specific reference including photos(attached as E�ibit B), or such other vehicles as approved by <br /> the City, purchased by the Contractor but subject to approval by the City for collection of <br /> recyclable materials within the City. <br /> Commercial: All that which is not considered residential. <br /> Curbside: Adjacent to the street pavement or alley pavement and within three feet thereof. <br /> Dwellin�s: Occupied single residences and apartment buildings containing no more than si�c units, <br /> provided that each occupied unit in said apartment buildings contains no more than six units. <br /> Each occupied unit in said apartment buildings shall be considered one dwelling for purposes of <br /> collection of recyclable materials and billing. <br /> Holida,�,�s: New Year's Day,Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, <br /> and Christmas Day. <br /> 1Viissed Collection: The failure of Contractor to collect from any dwelling, within a collection <br /> route, recyclable materials timely placed at the collection point during collection hours on the <br /> district collection day for that dwelling. <br /> Non-Recyclables: All refuse, garbage, rubbish, and waste matter which is not a recyclable <br /> material. <br /> Public Awareness Program: Program developed and provided by Contractor to inform and <br /> encourage residents to use the recycling collection services. <br /> RecYclable Materials: All newspapers, food product glass, aluminum, tin, and bi-metal cans, <br /> plastic milk jugs, high density polyethylene (HDPE), slick page magazines, catalogues and such <br /> other materials the parties may agree in writing. <br /> 2 <br />
