Anderson Plaza <br /> Decatur, IL 62523 <br /> Re: City of Decatur <br /> Northeast Water Distribution Area <br /> Project No. 9835 <br /> This is an Agreement to provide engineering services for the Northeast Water Distribution Area <br /> Analysis, hereinafter referred to as the PROJECT, between the City of Decatur, hereinafter <br /> referred to as the OWNER, and Strand Associates, Inc.,hereinafter referred to as ENGINEER. <br /> Project Scope - Identification <br /> The scope of services shall generally include the development and calibration of a model of the <br /> Decatur water distribution system followed by an in-depth analysis of the system to determine <br /> system needs without operation of the north water treatment plant. <br /> Scope of services to be provided by the ENGINEER include: <br /> 1. Attending one kickoff ineeting to discuss the project and obtain existing data including <br /> a copy of system maps and model. <br /> 2. Analyze historical water use data and develop existing and future water demands with <br /> separate accounting for large users with data supplied by OWNER. Take into account <br /> the changes in supply and demand caused by: <br /> a. Sale of NWTP to ADM. <br /> b. Interim and Permanent ADM demands. <br /> c.
