E., City Enginee�� SUBJECT: Water Service Agreement-Lot 1 Whitetail Meadow Addition (Commonly Known as 4004 Turpin Road) & Lot 2, Whitetail Meadow Addition Richard L. and Pamela S. Sanders have requested water service to Lot 1 Whitetail Meadow ', Addition, commonly known as 4004 Turpin Road, & Lot 2 - Whitetail Meadow Addition from the City of Decatur and submitted the required Water Service Agreement (copy attached) to the City's Engineering Division. The agreement is required because the properties are outside of and not contiguous to the City's corporate limits. The properties are located on the east side of Turpin Road and south of the intersection of Harryland Road and Turpin Road (refer to attached locale map). The water service connection will be to an existing City water main in South Turpin Road. The agreement, if approved by City Council, will increase the total number of individual properties having water service agreements with the City to 34. The City has 19 water service districts involving 518 properties of which 347 have agreed to connect to the City's water system. It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached resolution approving a Water Service Agreement for the real property described as Lots 1 and 2 of the Whitetail Meadow Addition (Replat of�Lot 1 of Martin N. Corman's 2nd Addition) and authorizing the Mayor to execute said Water Service Agreement for City. City staff will be available to answer questions that the Council may have at the meeting.
