E., City Engineers`� <br /> SUBJECT: Water Service Agreement-Lot 1, Tennison Addition (Commonly <br /> Known as 2290 Boiling Springs Road) <br /> James Stewart, Jr., 2290 Boiling Springs Road, has requested water service from the City of <br /> Decatur and submitted the required Water Service Agreement (copy attached) to the City's <br /> Engineering Division. The agreement is required because the property is outside of and not <br /> contiguous to the City's corporate limits. The property is located at the northeast corner of the <br /> intersection of Boiling Springs Road and Las Vegas Road (refer to locale map). The water <br /> service connection will be to an existing City water main in Boiling Springs Road. <br /> The agreement, if approved by City Council, will increase the total number of individual <br /> properties having water service agreements with the City to 35. The City has 19 water service <br /> districts involving 518 properties of which 347 have agreed to connect to the City's water system. <br /> It is recommended by staff that the City Council approve the attached resolution approving a <br /> Water Service Agreement for the real property described as Lot 1 of the Tennison Addition as <br /> per Plat recorded in Book 1832 Page 82 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, <br /> Illinois, and authorizing the Mayor to execute said Water Service Agreement for City. <br /> City staff will be available to answer questions that the Council may have at the meeting. <br /> Attachments: 3 <br /> cc: Bobby L.
