DPTS � <br /> provides public mass transit services to the Decatur, Illinois urbanized area. Fixed route service is I� <br /> provided on seven routes that generally radiate from the center of the downtown area, Transit service is I <br /> fumished from 6:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on weekdays and from 7:00 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Satundays. '� <br /> No service is provided on Sundays or on National holidays. OPTS operates a fleet of 28 fixed route I <br /> revenue vehicles, 12 of which are wheeelchair lift equipped. I <br /> DPTS also operates a subsidized taxi program and a demand response van program that provides I'� <br /> assessible complementary paratransit service to ADA-certified users. � <br /> Federal funds from this grant will funding approximately 30 percent of the annual operating expenses of I <br /> DPTS. The funding will also provide the federal share of additional desi n work a <br /> nd demol' ' <br /> 9 ition for the <br /> multi-modal transportation center, purchased needed computer hardware and software for the DPTS I <br /> maintenance department, purchase a utility vehicle for fleet support and fund a number of YZK problem �' <br /> prevention efforts. , <br /> Part 4.
