� �_ LEASE <br /> � <br /> This Lease, made and entered into this� day o , 1999, by and between Carl <br /> F. Yaegel, hereinafter referred to as "Lessee" and the City of De t r, a Municipality, hereinafter <br /> referred to as "Lessor", <br /> WITNESSETH <br /> That Lessor, for and in consideration of the covenants and agreements hereinafter set forth <br /> to be kept and performed by the Lessee, leases to the Lessee, the premises hereinafter described <br /> for the lease period at the rental and upon the terms and conditions hereinafter set forth. <br /> 1. Leased Premises: The premises leased hereinunder are described as follows, to wit: <br /> The South 141 feet of the North 191.5 of Lot Six in Block One of Elm Park, <br /> as per Plat recorded in Book 335, Page 57 of the Records in the Recorder's <br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois. <br /> Commonly known as 3550 N. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive <br /> Lessee agrees that it is accepting and leasing said premises "as is" with full knowledge of <br /> a11 applicable regulations and requirements of Federal and Illinois Environmental Protection <br /> Agencies (EPA). <br /> 2. Term of Lease: The term of this lease sha11 be on a month to month basis for a period <br /> not to exceed one (1) year. This lease shall terminate no later than �p,Gc �D , <br /> 2000. <br /> 3. Use of the Premises: Lessee shall occupy and use said premises as his personal <br /> residence. Any other use of the premises by the Lessee is prohibited. <br /> 4. Lease Term Rental: Lessee shall pay to the Lessor, as rent for the above-described <br /> premises, the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) per month paya�le on the first �ay of the <br /> month. Said rent shall be directed to the attention of Steve Swanson, # 1 Gary K. Anderson <br /> Plaza, Decatur, IL, 62523. <br /> 5. Taxes: In addition to the rent provided for in paragraph 4, Lessee sha11 pay all 1998 <br /> taxes, payable in 1999, and for those 1999-2000 t�es, payable in 2000 and 2001, for the months <br /> lessee held an interest in the premises. <br /> 6. End of Term: Lessee shall yield the premises to the Lessor in as good a condition as <br /> the same was entered upon, except for normal wear and tear, removing all non-lessor owned <br /> property and leaving the premises in a clean condition. <br />'� <br />
