Collin r., Director of Community Development <br /> SUBJECT: Paratransit Vehicles for Decatur Public Transit System <br /> On Apri126, 1999, City Council authorized receiving bids for two (2) paratransit vehicles. Staff <br /> received information that the City of Decatur could purchase the vehicles through the State of <br /> Illinois Combined Vehicle Procedure (CVP) program, through the bidding process of the Illinois <br /> Department of Transportation (IDOT). The vendor selected is: <br /> National Mobility Corporation <br /> 2940 De�ar Drive <br /> Elkhart, Indiana <br /> The vehicles provided by this vendor are approved by IDOT and all contract obligations have <br /> been completed by the vendor to the satisfaction of IDOT and the Federal Transit Administration. <br /> Staff requests pernussion to purchase two (2) vehicles from the above vendor at a price of <br /> $37,203 each. <br />
