Anderson Plaza Decatur, IL 62523 Dear Mr. �%illiams, I wish to thank you and the City of Decatur for the confidence you have shown by selecting Ballard Management Group, Inc. and Jim Bender for your interim Transit Director needs. We look forward to working with you in the days and weeks ahead. At the e:�d of this letter I have provided si�ature lines for the two of us indicating the acceptance by both parties of the terms and conditions contained in this agreement. James r. Bender of Ballard Management Group, Inc. will serve as I'ransit Director of tne Decatur Public Transit Svstem on an interim basis. Paul J. Ballard of L'ailard Management Group, Inc. will serve as the responsible senior executive with corporate responsibility for this contract. Cecil A. Collins will serv�to supervise the performance of this contract for the City of Decatur. Compensation will be at the rate of$2,000.00 per week for each week tiz�t Mr. Bender is in Decatur. Reasonable living and travel espenses for Messrs. Bender and Ballard while on Decatur Public Transit busir.ess �vill be additionaP. Each wcrkweek for Mr. Bender will consist of a five-day period. Any partial weeks wiil be prorated at the rate of$400 per day. Mr. Bender will be permitted the use of a Decatur Pubiic Transit autQmobile for official business while on duty in Decatur. It is our understanding at this time that Mr. Bender will be utiiized approximat�ly t��o weeks per month for the duration of this contract. Invoices will be submitted at the end of each two-week period. Pay�ment from the Citv of Decatur will be made within 10 days of the re�;eipt of in:�oices and/or expense reports.
