Restrictions on International BoYcott <br /> ARCHITECT hereby certifies that it is not participating, and will not participate, in an <br /> intemational boycott in violation with the provisions of the U.S. Export Administration Act; and <br />, furthermore, that ARCHITECT will comply with the requirements of Public Act 88-671 by <br /> providing to OWNER a written certification document to assure compliance with this regulation. <br /> A fully executed certification form is included with Attachment#4. <br /> Each sub-consultant also must certify that it complies with the above requirement. <br /> ARCHITECT is responsible for obtaining a certification from each sub-consultant, and <br /> forwarding said form(s) to OWNER. <br /> Political Activit Prohibited <br /> V <br /> ARCHITECT assures that none of the funds, equipment, materials, or services provided <br /> directly or indirectly under this AGREEMENT shall be used for any partisan political activity, or <br /> to further the election or defeat of any candidate for public office. <br /> Financial Assistance <br /> ARCHITECT agrees to comply with all terms and conditions prescribed for third party <br /> contracts, which are referred to in the financial assistance agreements between OWNER and <br /> the United States Department of Transportation, and befinreen OWNER and the Illinois <br /> Department of Transportation. <br /> /nferest to Members of Con ress <br />, 9 <br /> No member or delegate to the Congress of the United States of the Illinois General <br /> Assembly shall be admitted to any share or part of this AGREEMENT, or to any benefit arising <br /> therefrom. <br /> Prohibited/nferest <br /> No member, officer, or employee of OWNER, or any other public body involved with this <br /> PROJECT, during her/his tenure of office or employment, or for one (1) year thereafter, shall <br /> have any interest, direct or indirect, in this AGREEMENT of the proceeds thereof. <br /> 8 of 16 <br />
