NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL ESTATE <br /> The City of Decatur, Illinois, will receive and consider offers from any and all interested parties <br /> for the purchase of the following described real estate, owned by the City: <br /> The North fifty-eight(58) feet of Lot Nine(9) in Block Seven(7) of <br /> Higgins Addition to the City of Decatur, as per Plat recorded in Book <br /> 97 Page 115 (also recorded in Book 50 Page 386) of the Records in <br /> the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. Situated in Macon <br /> County, Illinois. <br /> (Commonly known as 245 East Orchard Street) <br /> The property is currently a vacant lot owned by the City. <br /> Offers to purchase should be submitted to the City Clerk on or before May 28, 1999, at 5:00 P.M. <br /> The City Clerk's office is located on the third floor of the Decatur Civic Center, 1 Gary K. Anderson <br /> Plaza, Decatur, Illinois. Offers submitted after such time will not be considered, except at the discretion <br /> of City Council. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all offers, to negotiate with any party submitting an <br /> offer, or any other party, and to accept any offer, after negotiations or otherwise, which is deemed in the <br /> best interests of the City by the City Council regardless of price, in the exercise of its home rule powers. <br /> EXHIBIT A <br />
