Perry, Purchasing Supervisor(� <br /> SUBJECT: PICK UP TRUCK BID <br /> Attached you will find a bid summary that came before City Council on November 16 for <br /> approval. <br /> When staff placed the arder with Schaumburg Dodge for the pick up truck, Schaumburg Dodge <br /> notified the City of an error in their bid. Schaumburg Dodge bid the wrong model, they figured a <br /> regular cab and not a club cab. Numerous conversations with Schaumburg Dodge attempting to <br /> remedy this situation were to no avail. Schaumburg Dodge requests their bid be withdrawn. <br /> Staff has spoken with the second low bidder and they can provide the truck requested by the City. <br /> It is staff recommendation to accept the second low bid of Northtown Ford to furnish one (1) <br /> 1999 Ford Ranger pick up truck with extended cab for$15,055. <br />
