NOTICE OF SALE OF REAL ESTATE The City of Decatur, tllinois, will receive and consider offers from any and all interested parties for the purchase of the following described real estate, owned by the City: Lots Eleven (11) through Twenty (20), Block Nineteen (19) of Carver's Addition of Blocks 19, 20, 22, 23, 24, 25 and 26 as per Plat recorded in Book T, Page 238 of the records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois. Situated in Macon County, Illinois. (Commonly known as 1122-1166 East Marietta Street) The property is currently being used as a center to house a non-profit corporation which provides services and programs for low-income and elderly populations, and is subject to a lease with such corporation to the year 2001. The City is selling all improvements located on the above-described real estate. Parties wishing to inspect the real estate and improvements should call Gail Evans, 217/428-0155 during regular business hours (Monday through Friday, 8:30 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.) to make arrangements. Offers to purchase should be submitted to the City Clerk on or before January 8, 1999, at 5:00 PM. The City Clerk's office is located on the third floor of the Decatur Civic Center, 1 Gary K. Anderson Plaza, Decatur, Illinois. Offers submitted after such time will not be considered, except at the discretion of City Council. The City reserves the right to reject any and all offers, to negotiate with any party submitting an offer, or any other party, and to accept any offer, after negotiations or otherwise, which is deemed in the best interests of the City by the City Council regardless of price, in the exercise of its home rule powers.
