r '� <br /> �. <br /> � .. <br /> AGREEMENT <br /> THIS AGREEMENT is made and entered into this 30th day of September, 1998, by and between <br /> the CITY OF DECATUR, an Illinois Municipal Corporation ("Client"), and ARTHUR J. <br /> GALLAGHER & CO. (ILLINOIS), an Illinois Business Corporation ("Gallagher"). <br /> I. RECITALS <br /> A. Client desires to insure its workers' compensation, general liability, crime, automobile <br /> liability and physical damage, property, and public officials' liability risks. <br /> B. Gallagher is engaged in the business of advising its clients on their insurance needs and <br /> procuring insurance on behalf of its clients as an insurance broker. <br /> C. Gallagher desires to provide certain administrative services and required insurance <br /> brokerage services to Client and Client desires to have Gallagher provide such services in <br /> accordance with the terms hereof. <br /> II. TERM & TERMINATION <br /> A. TERM <br /> This Agreement shall be effective for an initial term of one year commencing October 1, <br /> 1998, and shall remain in full force and effect until September 30, 1999. Thereafter this <br /> Agreement shall be automatically renewed for successive one year terms until terminated <br /> as provided herein. <br />
