. EXHIBIT B <br /> ANNEXATION AGREEMENT <br /> This Annexation Agreement made by and between the City of Decatur, Illinois, a <br /> municipal corporation ("City") and Executor of Ernest E. Dragstrem Estate and The First <br /> National Bank of Decatur, Trustee, under Agreement for Harold E. Dragstrem, ("Owners"). <br /> WHEREAS, Ernest E. Dragstrem Estate and The First National Bank, Trustee under <br /> Agreement for Harold E. Dragstrem, are the owners of the following described premises: <br /> All of the N 1/2 of the SE 1/4 of Sec. 30, T 17 N, R 3 E of the 3rd <br /> P.M., except that part of said Half-Quarter section lying North and <br /> West of the Easterly right-of-way line of S.B.I. Route 48, as per Plat <br /> recorded in Book 646 Page 586 of the records in the Recorder's <br /> Office of Macon County, Illinois, also except that part taken for <br /> highway purposes by Deed recorded in Book 1784 Page 140 of the <br /> records in the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; also <br /> except that part thereof that is contained in the Dedication of <br /> Right-of-Way for Public Road purposes that is recorded as <br /> Document No. 1410869 in Book 2594 Page 135, of the records in <br /> the Recorder's Office of Macon County, Illinois; <br /> ("Premises"), <br /> which Premises are outside of the corporate limits of the City and not contiguous thereto; and, <br /> WHEREAS, Owners desire to annex said Premises to the City when contiguous, but <br /> only upon certain terms and conditions; and, <br /> WHEREAS, the City agrees that said terms and conditions, as contained herein, are �� <br /> reasonable and acceptable; and, <br />' WHEREAS, hearings have been held and notice given as required by law. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, for and in consideration of the mutual promises and obligations <br /> made and assumed herein, and pursuant to authority of 65 ILCS 5/11-15.1-1 et seq., the City . <br /> and Owners agree as follows: <br /> 1. Upon the Premises becoming contiguous, the Owners shall file an annexation <br /> petition with the City, in compliance with 65 ILCS 5/7-1-8, said petition to describe the <br />
